2008 Millefiori
(a thousand flowers)
With its beautiful tropical fruit/flower aromatics and fruit driven palate, the Millefiori (a thousand flowers) maintains lively acidity
reminiscent of citrus. Composed of Siegerrebe and Ortega, it complements fish, poultry
and lighter meats, fruity or butter/cream sauces or those with hints of spice, such as
ginger. It is ever-changing when allowed to warm and open in the glass.
12.4% alcohol. Sealed with a Stelvin screw cap instead of a cork to better preserve
the quality of the wine.
You may find "wine diamonds" (colourless,
odourless tartrate crystals that settle to the bottom of the bottle) in
some of our wines, including the Millefiori. These are common in wines
that have not been subjected to freezing temperatures prior to bottling
and are normal, natural and totally harmless to consume. If you prefer
to avoid getting them in the glass, pour carefully at the end of the bottle.
