2006 Brut Naturel

The 2006 season was again excellent, and the higher than expected sugar levels. The result is a delicious dry sparkling with gentle, but persistent bubbles and smooth texture. As usual, we did not add any sulphites or additional sweetness. This cuvée was composed from Pinot Auxerrois, Pinot Gris and touch Kerner. Delicious!. 13.8% alcohol.

2005 Brut Naturel

2004 Brut Naturel

Another truly fine bottle-fermented black label sparkling in the Venturi-Schulze tradition: no sulphites added, no sweetness (dosage), fine, persistent mousse, wonderful fruit and fresh bread yeast character. This cuvee, aged for several months in French oak barrels prior to bottling, was composed from Pinot Auxerrois, Pinot Gris and touch of Kerner. Wonderfully full and complex. 12.5% alcohol.

2003 Brut Naturel

A delicious bottle-fermented sparkling in the Venturi-Schulze tradition: no sulphites added, no sweetness (dosage), fine, persistent mousse, fabulous fruit and fresh bread yeast character .... outstanding. This cuvee, aged for several months in French oak barrels prior to bottling, was composed from Pinot Auxerrois, Pinot Noir and touch of Chasselas. Wonderfully full and complex. 12.5% alcohol.

2002 Brut Naturel

This wonderful cuvée of our black label bottle-fermented sparkling wine was composed from Pinot Gris, Pinot Auxerrois and a touch of Kerner. It displays the typical fruit and fresh yeast character, lovely citrus tones on the finish and creamy texture and fine mousse one expects from a Venturi-Schulze brut. 12% alcohol. Sealed with a crown cap. Sold out at the winery.

2000 Brut Naturel

Another fine vintage black label Brut Naturel with fresh yeast nose and fine, persistent mousse. It has delicious fruit character with hints of grapefruit and is, as always, absolutely dry with no added dosage or sulphites.

We have many fans of our Brut Naturel, but none more welcome than Bess, who has savoured every vintage we have ever made. Bess is the first to have tasted this release and wrote "Well I must say you have outdone yourself! We got home and put a bottle on ice, prepared a supper of epoisses cheese and chicken salad and opened the bottle. It is simply wonderful and we thank anyone who had anything to do with it. Even the lady who put on the label. It is very interesting in its complexity - neither better nor worse than the previous batch but more interesting to the palate. Young as it is, it has remarkable character."

2000 Brut Naturel Rosé

This bottle-fermented sparkling gets its beautiful pink colour from the Pinot Noir used in its cuvée. Those who have tasted it have sung its praises for its delicate pink hue, wonderful fruit, fresh bread yeast character, good acidity and creamy texture. 1999 Brut Naturel

A wonderfully fruity white bottle-fermented sparkling with our trademark fresh yeast nose and fine, persistent mousse.
This cuvée is unique and delicious, dry as usual, with no added dosage or sulphites.
It has wonderful grapefruit aromas with a perception of sweet lemon on the palate, along with round, toasty yeast notes.
Sealed with a crown cap instead of a cork to better preserve the quality of the wine. 12.5% alcohol.

Was available in select restaurants, including Sooke Harbour House in Sooke and the Empress Room at the Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria. Sold out at the winery.

Brut Naturel K.A.P.

Vibrant fruit flavours and brilliant red in colour. The cuvée is 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Pinot Auxerrois.
The wine is absolutely dry, yet the fruit character lends a softness and creamy texture on the palate.
It is a great match with truly fine black olives. No sulphites or dosage were added. 12.8% alcohol.

This bottle-fermented sparkling is light, smooth and refreshing with delicious fruit nuances and light-as air foam that dances on the tongue. This is our first release of the "Legato" cuvée. No sulphites or dosage (sweet additions) have been added to any of our sparkling wines. 12% alcohol.

Brut Naturel Rosé (non vintage)

This was our first rosé, a bottle-fermented dry sparkling wine from a Pinot Noir cuvée. It has a lovely pink hue, unique Venturi-Schulze fruit character and full, round fresh yeast notes on the palate. It is a sparkling for those who love a dry and elegant sparkling wine. No sulphites or dosage were added. 12.5% alcohol.
