Amusé Bistro at 1753 Shawnigan-Mill Bay Rd., Shawnigan Lake, is described in National Geographic Traveler, 2009 as a "French influenced Shawnigan Lake restaurant, which turns out meals that rival the fare at top city eateries."
Chef/Proprietor Bradford Boisvert attended the Culinary Institute of America, located in New York, to get his Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and then went on to complete a bachelors in Restaurant Management. After many years experience in high end dining establishments, he settled in this small community with Leah Bellerive, his partner and wife, to create this French style bistro, focusing on the slow food movement with everything made from scratch. While the food is sophisticated, with elegant service in a classy dining room indoors or out, the style is semi-formal dining without pretension. Phone (250) 743-3667.
