We are not offering drop-in tastings during January, February and March, 2012 but are always happy to come down from the vineyard for sales. 2011 was quite a season. We finished harvest on November 10th, a full month later than usual! With the wine shop cozy and warm, some fabulous wines and a new line of culinary products to share, we invite you to join us during our extended hours Wednesday to Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm until December 23rd.

You can do all your holiday shopping with a selection of mouth-watering Venturi-Schulze products for both drinkers and non-drinkers, including gift baskets featuring a selection of wines and/or balsamic vinegar, verjus and delicious 2011 season jellies!
So far, so good! Gorgeous Siegerrebe and spectacular Pinot Noir are in the bag! Thanks to Giordano and Michelle, along with Fang and Josie, our Jack Russell terriers, the pesky rabbit that spent its nights chewing holes in the bird netting has been driven off and the hole in the rabbit fence (darn muskrats) has been fixed.
The starlings and robins have arrived, attracted by the ripening grapes, so the netting must go up. We will be busy in the vineyard Tuesday to Thursday, but will reopen the tasting room for drop in tastings and sales on Friday September 2 for the long weekend. See you then!
